Sep. 17th, 2008 03:12 pmThis is SO NOT OKAY. The comments make me want to weep for humanity and find an island somewhere to live out the rest of my days unburdened by having to coexist with such people.
Seriously.
Put the shoe on the other foot, and then tell me it was perfectly fine to break into and distribute someone's personal email.
Edited to add: Even if she was using this email address to subvert having to retain government records, that's a matter for the authorities. By circumventing that process, it sets a horrible precedent that if we don't agree with someone or suspect something fishy is going on, their privacy rights are automatically forfeit and they are guilty until proven innocent. That doesn't sound like a country I want to live in.
