As God is my witness...
Nov. 26th, 2008 08:53 amAhh, Thanksgiving. Leaving aside the fact that I'll be baking like a madwoman tonight (work late, then choir, then somehow I have to wrangle a pie together before we leave for the in-laws tomorrow) I've been assembling my post-Thanksgiving TV viewing. Now that I have so many of my favorite shows on DVD, I'm going to put together a Thanksgiving special! Currently on my list:
1. Gilmore Girls - "A Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving" (The girls finally hit their eating limit!)
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - "Pangs" (Spike tied to a chair, Anya describing Thanksgiving as "a ritual sacrifice...with pie", and Xander hit with revenge-syphilis? Good times!)
3. Friends - every single Thanksgiving episode, but most memorably, "The One With All The Football", "The One Where Underdog Gets Away", "The One With The Rumor", and "The One With Chandler In A Box"
4. WKRP in Cincinnati - "Turkeys Away" (I'm so excited I have this on DVD now! "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!")
5. (if I can find it) The Bob Newhart Show - "Over the River and Through the Woods" (otherwise known as the drunken "moo goo gai pan" episode)
