So...at work today, Tony mentioned BookSwim to me. It's like Netflix, but with books. Really. You search their library, add books to your queue pool, and they ship you three at a time (or more) and you read them and ship them back. And get more books. And you can buy a book and keep it if you really like it.

So. Awesome.

Also awesome: Bear's blog post on the BSG finale. Warning: VERY spoiler heavy, as it basically details every minute of the score in relation to the episode. It's things like this that make me love the show even more.

That sounds so cool! I was looking for something like that a while ago (because I am too lazy to go to the library and this will have a bigger selection). Now, I just use BookMooch. That way, if I like the book, I keep it, and if I don't, I put it back up.

Hmm...then I would have to *sob* let go of some of my books, though! I must fight my packrat nature. Fiiiight...

I just signed up for BookMooch...I'm megotelek there too! And whew! I'm already sending out 8 books tomorrow! Any tips for most cost-efficient shipping?

I generally use whatever envelopes are available (usually from work). The 6x9 "booklet" envelopes work well for small to medium sized paperbacks. No need to pad too much, especially if the books are old or secondhand to begin with. When you get books, save the envelopes and reuse them. Send first class if available, media mail if not. Nothing is that important to send priority.

I'm "adreama" on there. I'll find you!
