Nov. 5th, 2008 11:19 amAuthor Michael Crichton died today.
And I just started rereading Jurassic Park again...it's one of my favorite books. Also, I love the movie (since I saw it before I read the book) because it was a movie I had begged to see when it came out. I was12 when it was released 11 when it was released (summer of 1993, so I wasn't quite 12), and it was a PG-13 movie, but my dad brought me to see the "dinosaur movie." I still remember going to the theater to watch it...I was so excited.
I love some of his other books (Timeline especially), but Jurassic Park will always have a special place in my heart.
RIP, Michael Crichton. I'll watch Jurassic Park tonight in memory.
