Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So far, I've had a very full St. Paddy's Day, myself...I went to the bank and the grocery store, washed my car, and just got back from walking down to the Little League field that's about a block from my house to get a cheap hot dog. Mmmm...love it. I consider the hot dog tribute for waking me up at an ungodly hour of the morning the first Saturday of the season for their annual parade. Which involves a LOT of screaming, sirens, and horn honking. Plus, I paid for the hot dog, so they're making money!
I'm currently prepping for the annual St. Paddy's Day feast, which includes roast pork and potatoes, Guinness, and soda bread. I've never had corned beef (I know, sacrilege) but as far as I know that's a very New York-Irish-American thing. Not so much an Irish thing. I'd still be interested, though, so we saved the episode of Good Eats on corned beef and we'll have to experiment.
I'm wearing my 4-leaf-clover earrings, green eyeshadow, green T-shirt, olive capris, green flip-flops, and my little green sparkly anklet. Nobody gets to pinch me today! I love St. Patrick's Day...next to Christmas and Easter, it's my favorite holiday. More so than Thanksgiving, even (but not by a lot...the pumpkin pie refuses to be silenced)!
